My Students, Nina Tirsina from Moldova and her students, Raffaella Ciabatti and her students from Italy, Anna Bebenek and her students from Poland, Serap Sonal, Hatice Yavuzyılmaz, Umut Şencan, Ayla Akhan, Şengül Kaya, Tülin Aktürk and students from Turkey. We had a wonderful meeting. The students introduced themselves and said their wishes for the New Year.

WE KNOW SOME COMMON PLANTS: Second common activity

Dear partners, we will create a collaborative e-book about some common plants of our countries using StoryJumper.

We will work in transnational teams.

One school - School A - writes the name of a plant of its country in the table underneath.

School B writes a short text in English about the plant of School A and draws the plant.

Then school A writes a text and draws the plant of school B.

WE TAKE CARE OF PLANTS: First common activity

Dear students, we will learn how to take care of plants by creating and playing a Kahoot game.

We will work collaboratively in an international team.

Each school will add a question to the game.

The question can be about taking care of indoor and outdoor plants.

At the end, 2 students will add the question to Kahoot and also to the Twinboard below.

LOGO CONTEST

Dear partners, we will vote the logo for our project on this page.

Our pupils should draw it (it would be the best option). Alternatively you and your students can use Wordart, Makebadges or another tool you prefer.

Some other tools you can use: CANVA, POSTERMYWALL, LOGOMAKR, COOLTEXT, GRAPHIC SPRINGS, BLOGPOSTER, SNAPPA, CRELLO, FOTOR, DESIGNBOLD, PICMONKEY, VISME, STENCIL, EASEL.LY.

We will upload our logo suggestion - only 1 logo - from September 15th to October 25th.

The students of each school will choose 1 logo together and their teacher will upload it to Padlet.

We and our students together will vote our two favourite logos from October 26th to November 15th.

We do not vote for our own work.

Only teachers members of our project are allowed to click on the "reaction" on Padlet ( a heart) and they also have to write their name in "comments" under their 2 favourite logos.


HOW TO VOTE

Teachers and students together choose 2 logos, not their own logo.

The teacher uploads the votes.

Now can the teacher upload the votes?

From October 26th to November 15th, click on the "heart" under your 2 favourite logos.

IMPORTANT: write your name in "Add a comment" under your 2 favourite logos: the teachers' names under each post will be counted and the logo will be the winner that has more names underneath.

Code Week for Plants

Dear partners, on the occasion of the Code Week for All 2021, we can upload to the Twinboard below the activities done with our students in order to teach them the e-safety rules.

We are taking part to the initiative with an event dedicated to plants, of course.

Gli studenti dai 6 ai 12 anni esploreranno i parchi naturali, i giardini botanici, i boschi e i boschetti dei loro paesi.

OBIETTIVI


Gli studenti svilupperanno le loro abilità linguistiche.
Miglioreranno le loro competenze digitali.
Impareranno a collaborare in team.
Si divertiranno e faranno nuove amicizie.
Conosceranno e rispetteranno culture diverse.
Conosceranno nuove piante e i siti naturali dei loro paesi e dei partecipanti.

PROCEDURA DI LAVORO

OTTOBRE: gli studenti creeranno un gioco kahoot su alcune regole per prendersi cura delle piante.
NOVEMBRE-DICEMBRE: Creeranno un libro collaborativo su alcune piante comuni.
GENNAIO: Un gioco di coppia (immagine di una pianta descritta nell'ebook - nome della pianta)
FEBBRAIO-MARZO: Visiteranno l'habitat naturale (visita reale o virtuale) e realizzeranno un video con brevi frasi in inglese sulle piante.
APRILE: Creeranno un erbario comune con alcune piante tipiche di ogni paese.
MAGGIO: Caccia al tesoro finale sulla mappa dell'Europa.
I partner condivideranno responsabilità e compiti.
